Next week, third period classes will compete in a Homecoming spirit day challenge to win a pizza party provided by Student Council.
Students are encouraged to participate in the different dress-up themes and show school spirit.
“I think it’s a symbol of unity and culture, and just participating in this wonderful tradition that is Homecoming,” Student Council sponsor Craig Rhoades said.
The schedule of the dress-up themes is below:
Monday: Grade-level Collins class colors. Seniors wear black, juniors wear purple, sophomores wear gold, and freshmen wear white.
Tuesday: Grade-level generation day. Seniors dress as senior citizens, juniors dress as adults, sophomores dress as kids, and freshmen dress as babies or toddlers.
Wednesday: Wicked Wednesday. Wear pink or green.
Thursday: Duet day. Dress as a duo or twin with a friend.
Friday: Concert T-shirt day.
