The first PSD equipment swap will be held at Blevins Middle School Oct. 18 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
“I really hope that students can come to the event and they can walk away feeling more empowered to pursue athletics and sports throughout not only their middle school career, but then also their high school career,” event organizer Isla Zuniga said.
From 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., those interested can drop off donations of new or used sporting equipment, and PSD students can pick up any equipment they need starting at 12:30 p.m.
Zuniga explained students do not need to donate to be eligible to receive equipment.
