Application for Student Equity Advocates closes Sept. 20
September 16, 2021
FCHS and CSU’s Center for Public Deliberation have partnered to offer students the opportunity to become Student Equity Advocates. These students will take on tasks such as peer discussion and relaying data related to issues of equity in the school.
“We’re going to select about 15-20 folks grades 9-12 who are interested in really digging into the student experience at Fort Collins High School,” Assistant Principal Jennifer Roth said. “We’re really looking to have a broad representation of grade level, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, and race.”
Those interested are encouraged to apply by Sept. 20 at https://col.st/yuAY8.
Selected advocates will attend a 4-hour training at FCHS on Oct. 8.
