The girls basketball team will face Arapahoe High School in an away game tomorrow at 5:30 p.m.
The varsity team has reached the Sweet 16 of the 6A state playoffs for the first time since 2012.
“Winning the second round of playoffs proved to ourselves that we are as good as we thought we were,” senior Morgan Bandhauer said. “It just means a lot that I get to end the season on a high note.”
Bandhauer attributes the turnaround to the leadership of their new coach and the dedication of returning players.
