In order to prevent classrooms’ being disrupted and hallways’ being left dirty with trash, the school administrators implemented a policy mid-November stating that the areas west of all double doors would be off limits to students during lunch.

“A large majority of students weren’t cleaning up after themselves,” Assistant Principal Emily Dunn said. “But, more specifically, because it was hard for teachers to continue to teach during fourth and fifth period when students were up and down the hallway.

”The policy will continue to be enforced but has been adjusted so that students needing to meet with teachers during this time will be able to bring their food past the double doors.
