PSD Student Advisory Council opens applications

Applications are open for the 2024-2025 PSD Student Advisory Council (StAC). 

“This is a fantastic opportunity for students to grow and make a meaningful impact on PSD, rather than just something to list on their resumes,” Michele Lae, StAC organizer, wrote in an email to Spilled Ink. 

Any high school student is eligible, regardless of GPA or background. Representatives use their experiences as students to advise members of the Board of Education about district policies. 

The StAC meets after school on one Monday per month. The application is available here, and is due by Aug. 18 at 4 p.m.

Kate is a junior at FCHS. She has been a member of Spilled Ink for three years, and is thrilled to return as editor in chief. Advocacy is important to Kate, and she is also a member of the PSD Student Advisory Council and Colorado Youth Advisory Council. She is passionate about mathematics, and hopes to pursue data science in the future. On the weekends, you can find her competing at speech and debate tournaments, playing tennis, or getting an iced chai.
