PSD Student Advisory Council opens applications

Applications are open for the 2024-2025 PSD Student Advisory Council (StAC). 

“This is a fantastic opportunity for students to grow and make a meaningful impact on PSD, rather than just something to list on their resumes,” Michele Lae, StAC organizer, wrote in an email to Spilled Ink. 

Any high school student is eligible, regardless of GPA or background. Representatives use their experiences as students to advise members of the Board of Education about district policies. 

The StAC meets after school on one Monday per month. The application is available here, and is due by Aug. 18 at 4 p.m.

Kate is a sophomore at FCHS, and excited to step into the role of editor in chief. She is passionate about being a voice for the voiceless, not only as a member of Spilled Ink, but also through her positions on the PSD Student Advisory Council and Colorado Youth Advisory Council. Kate is also an assistant lead for theater publicity crew, a member of math and science honor societies, and a competitor for the speech and debate team.
