FCHS students, staff, and families raised $21,160 for Make-a-Wish Colorado during this year’s Spread the Love Week.
“It’s great that kids can come together as a community and fundraise for families in need,” Student Council sponsor Michaela Kimsey said. “That just shows how hard the students have worked, and how many different fundraisers they had going on throughout the week.”
This was the second largest recorded total for Spread the Love Week fundraising. The money will help Alyza and her family fulfill her wish to visit the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, and support Make-a-Wish Colorado in granting wishes for other families like hers.
