The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) will perform a condensed version of “Romeo and Juliet” in the McNeal parking lot tomorrow during third and fourth period.
“We love that this is an opportunity to see Shakespeare in a small format for free, without having to leave our school,” Theater Director Jason Tyler said. “It’s really great performers. It’s really great professional technicians, and everyone can get a taste of it.”
The “Shakespeare in the Parking Lot” program takes both “Romeo and Juliet” and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” on tour around Colorado, and their 45 minute shows are designed to make Shakespeare more digestible to younger audiences.
