Math Honor Society (MHS) is hosting fundraising events throughout this week.
According to MHS student leader Trey Booker, Pi Day is for “raising money for an organization, and it’s just a fun way to pie your teachers.”
Among the events, students may bid to win the right to pie a selected teacher in the face, and MHS will be selling pies in the spine during lunch to help raise money for the McKinney Vento program.
Something to look for throughout this week are pi symbols hidden around the school and if a student finds one, it can be exchanged in L102 for a $5 gift card to either Dutch Bros or Starbucks.
